Happiness

Introspective, yet not fully there
Like those before me, I long for love
Inside my heart, I bleed just like you
Keep mocking me, I strive for any attention
Every day, I wake to hope for love
Because she comes back to me, I'm happy.
Overnight, I ponder my existence.
Off into the sunset I wish to ride
Briskly toward my final destination.
Sunset, so beautiful
And amazingly calming.
Never has my heart melted just for one.
Divided, it's always been
But never again shall it be that way.
Every night I give thanks
Every day I live to see a new day!
Righteous, I now am.
